The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Khan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Khan throws a lazy right hand but Cortez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Khan lands with a hook. Cortez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Don Cortez has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Cortez or perhaps it was just good defense by Khan, which made it look bad.
Cortez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Khan is stalking Cortez. Cortez circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Khan, and it's lights out! Cortez really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
