Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Asa Steele (ranked 2895 p4p, 4005 weight class) and Mario Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Asa Steele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mario Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cabrera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steele pinned against the cage. Steele gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Steele has managed to clinch.
Steele throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cabreras head.
Cabrera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Steele scores with a nice hook to the head.
Cabrera has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Steele keeps control of Cabrera as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Cabrera's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Steele creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Steele lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Cabrera misses with a short punch on the inside.
Steele lands a left hand.
Steele landing knees to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steele lands with a light punch inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steele blocks an uppercut.
Steele gets through Cabrera's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Steele scores with a shoulder strike.

Cabrera is rocked!
Steele creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Cabrera's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Cabrera drops to his knees and Steele pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
