Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Julius Benedict (ranked 2879 p4p, 21450 weight class) and Theodore Rothschild (ranked 353 p4p, 613 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Theodore Rothschild!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothschild chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Benedict can pounce on him.
Rothschild ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Benedict throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rothschild pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Benedict swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Rothschild has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Rothschild counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rothschild cracks Benedict with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Benedict get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Benedict looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Julius Benedict seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benedict walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
