Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Akutagawa (ranked 425 p4p, 274 weight class) and David Hanson (ranked 58 p4p, 36 weight class). Hanson has chosen Subcouds - on red as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ryu Akutagawa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryu Akutagawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, David Hanson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akutagawa misses with the body kick
and Hanson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Akutagawa!
Akutagawa is looking to regain half guard here but Hanson keeps moving and retains side control.
Akutagawa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hanson on the ground.
Hanson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Akutagawa has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hanson but great work by Akutagawa.
Akutagawa is looking to take a break and control but Hanson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hanson sneaks back into half guard.
Akutagawa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hanson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hanson.
Hanson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Akutagawa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hanson has tightened it up now! Akutagawa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
