The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmichael shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Calavar as he jumps to the side.
Carmichael lands a front kick.
Jimmy Calavar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Calavar looks to land a combination but Carmichael avoids it well.
Calavar drops Carmichael with a big left hand and mounts him. Carmichael is in big trouble!
Carmichael is rocked!
It looks like Melanie Carmichael has been cut.
Calavar is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Carmichael is still on wobbly legs! Can Calavar finish him?
Calavar lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Carmichael falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
