The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mankowski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Mankowski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lloyd manages to get to full guard.
Lloyd is controlling Mankowski's posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lloyd shoots for a double leg takedown but Mankowski sprawls well. He's pushed Lloyd's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
