Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Freeman (ranked 3524 p4p, 5584 weight class) and Metal Angel (ranked 223 p4p, 299 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freeman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Freeman showed some decent athleticism there.
Freeman wants to free his trapped foot but Angel is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Angel tries to roll over but Freeman keeps him under control.

Freeman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Angel for as long as he can get away with.

Freeman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Angel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Freeman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Freeman continues to stall.
Freeman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Angel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Freeman pulls his head out easily.
Angel wants to get back to full guard but Freeman has mounted him!

Angel tries to lock up and control but Freeman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Angel rolls, trying to escape but Freeman keeps control of the position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Angel is looking for a triangle here but Freeman uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Freeman works to advance to full mount. Angel defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Freeman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

What can Angel do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Angel is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
You can see the frustration on Angel's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
