Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Frost (ranked 2291 p4p, 2420 weight class) and Alvro Machado (ranked 259 p4p, 271 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Alvro Machado enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alvro Machado!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Frost.
Frost slips a straight right by Machado.

Frost has closed the distance and engaged Machado in a clinch.
Frost jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Machado walks away with a smile on his face. Frost gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Machado clinches up against the cage.
Frost is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Machado wants to take the fight to the mat but Frost manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Frost is trying to pull guard but Machado turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Machado looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Machado misses with a hook to the ribs.
Machado misses with the head strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Machado misses with some punches.
Frost blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Frost tries for a takedown. No joy.
Frost is looking to take this one to the mat.
Machado prevents the takedown attempt.

Machado drags the fight down to the ground.

Frost is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Machado looking for a sweep. Not yet Machado, not yet.
Machado keeping moving, preventing Frost from controlling successfully.

Machado is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Frost defends well.
Frost wants to pass the guard but Machado is keeping the position.
Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but Machado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Machado controls Frost momentarily but Frost frees himself.

Machado is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frost is aware though and is defending well.

Machado has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Frost should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Machado has tightened it up now! Frost should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Alvro Machado spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
