Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grant Hyde (ranked 1247 p4p, 1194 weight class) and Rock Lee (ranked 153 p4p, 144 weight class). Grant Hyde has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grant Hyde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lee duly obliges.
Hyde fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hyde misses with an uppercut. Lee saw that one coming.
Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hyde on the side of the head.
Hyde definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hyde rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Hyde keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lee.
An attempted straight right counter from Hyde misses the target.
Lee walks into a jab.
Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hyde throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hyde throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hyde lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hyde.
Hyde cracks Lee with a good jab.
Lee drives through and clinches with Hyde against the cage.
Hyde pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee tries to bum rush Hyde with a series of wild strikes but Hyde uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lee works over Hyde's head and body with a nice combination.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee throws a low kick but Hyde moves out of range easily.
Hyde throws a wild body kick that Lee sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hyde takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hyde throws a solid leg kick but Lee takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hyde.
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hyde lands with a nice body kick.
Lee with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hyde lands a nice shot to the body.
Lee looks winded!
Hyde scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hyde throws a quick inside leg kick.
Lee throws a big shot that misses.
Lee scores with a jab to the body.
Lee takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed right hand from Hyde misses the target.
A low kick lands for Hyde.
Lee closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hyde throws a body shot but no joy.
A low kick lands for Hyde.
Lee scores with a sloppy right hand. Hyde should have avoided that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hyde digs a good hook to Lee's body.
Hyde tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lee is able to avoid easily.
Lee looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hyde sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lee throws out a loose jab but Hyde uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hyde swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hyde walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lee checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hyde moves out of range as Lee throws a body kick.
Hyde scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.
Hyde swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lee.
Lee is rocked!
Hyde measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Lee! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Grant Hyde!
