Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 3819 p4p, 25129 weight class) and Adrien Acosta (ranked 397 p4p, 529 weight class). Jack Daniels has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Adrien Acosta!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Daniels throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Acosta avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Acosta closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Daniels's guard.
Daniels managing to control the position.
Daniels has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Daniels with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Acosta can't handle though.
Daniels has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Acosta working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Acosta looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Daniels wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Daniels misses with a double jab

and Acosta counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Daniels lands an uppercut.
Daniels tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Daniels lands a left hand.
Acosta jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Daniels walks away with a smile on his face. Acosta gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nice sprawl there from Daniels as Acosta shoots in.
Daniels misses with a straight right.

Daniels misses with a series of wild punches.
Daniels looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Daniels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Daniels swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Daniels throws a right hand that Acosta ducks under and follows up with a left that Acosta also avoids with ease.
Daniels throws a series of punches but Acosta avoids them all with ease.

Daniels drops Acosta with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Acosta looks back up at him and smiles so Daniels waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Acosta is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sloppy strikes from Daniels. Those never looked like landing.
Acosta is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him?
Daniels misses with a few strikes there.
Acosta looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Acosta walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Daniels swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
