Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Banchamek Buakaw (ranked 2197 p4p, 2209 weight class) and Jayne Gill (ranked 236 p4p, 237 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Gill feints and as Buakaw raises his hands in defense, Gill changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Buakaw pushes Gill off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Banchamek Buakaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gill might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
