Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuro Taira (ranked 3813 p4p, 3832 weight class) and Tamryn Shihsaidov (ranked 256 p4p, 258 weight class). Shihsaidov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Soviet Connection. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taira takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Taira uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shihsaidov.
Taira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shihsaidov swivels and escapes.
Shihsaidov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taira moves away.
A combination from Shihsaidov does no damage.
Taira throws a right and a left that Shihsaidov avoids nicely.
Taira doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shihsaidov counters with a stiff right hand.
Shihsaidov lands with a straight right. Taira didn't see that one coming.
Taira walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Shihsaidov misses with a looping right.
Shihsaidov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A left lands for Shihsaidov.

Taira is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice uppercut there from Shihsaidov.
Oh Taira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shihsaidov connects with a single shot there.
Shihsaidov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Taira dives in and grabs Shihsaidov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shihsaidov pushes down on Taira's head and hops out.
Taira seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tatsuro Taira. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Shihsaidov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

and Shihsaidov counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Shihsaidov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taira moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Taira connects with a single shot there.
Shihsaidov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shihsaidov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jab, jab by Shihsaidov - just one landing.
Taira tries for a takedown but Shihsaidov circles away easily
and Shihsaidov counters with a huge left! Taira is in big trouble! He's backing up but Shihsaidov isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Taira from any more damage. A dominating finish by Shihsaidov!

A very excited looking Tamryn Shihsaidov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
