Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matteo Chibaclov (ranked 1773 p4p, 766 weight class) and Light Uhp (ranked 212 p4p, 96 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uhp throws out a loose jab but Chibaclov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Chibaclov scores with a takedown into Uhp's guard.
Chibaclov trying to control the position from guard on top but Uhp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chibaclov passes Uhp's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Chibaclov is trying to control. Uhp wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Uhp wants to control but Chibaclov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chibaclov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Uhp knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Uhp is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chibaclov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Uhp sees it coming and defends easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Uhp can do anything to dispel that myth.
Chibaclov is trying to control the action in half guard but Uhp is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Uhp pushes Chibaclov off looking to stand but Chibaclov dives back in and keeps control.

Chibaclov throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Uhp to regain full guard.
Uhp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chibaclov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chibaclov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chibaclov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Uhp is wriggling around but Chibaclov manages to pass to half guard.

Chibaclov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Uhp is just riding it out for now. Chibaclov eventually gives up the hold.
Chibaclov is looking to advance position but Uhp won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chibaclov stops Uhp from getting back to his feet.

Chibaclov decides to stand up.
Chibaclov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chibaclov moves in looking to clinch but Uhp pushes him off.

and Uhp connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chibaclov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Uhp.
Uhp lands a really nice looking cross but Chibaclov seems unphased.
Chibaclov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uhp tries to avoid it but Chibaclov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uhp to the ground. Uhp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chibaclov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Uhp sprawls well. Uhp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chibaclov gets slowly back to his feet.
A little jabbing left from Uhp on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Uhp throws an overhand right that lands on Chibaclov's shoulder, as Chibaclov tries to avoid the shot.
A jab from Uhp finds it's way through Chibaclov's defenses.
Chibaclov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Uhp to score with a decent uppercut.
Light Uhp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Uhp has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
