Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Stack (ranked 1646 p4p, 1677 weight class) and Bruce Hardman (ranked 129 p4p, 133 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bruce Hardman enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Stack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Hardman!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman with a jab.
Hardman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hardman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A combination from Stack does no damage.
Stack connects with a body shot that sends Hardman's belly button to the back.
Hardman has his takedown stuffed
and Stack counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stack has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cant Lose MMA in the buildup to the fight.

Stack lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stack misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hardman.

Hardman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stack's half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hardman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stack is just riding it out for now. Hardman eventually gives up the hold.

Hardman felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Stack is stalling here. Hardman is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Stack seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hardman has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
