The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asten connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The Way looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Asten misses with the combination.
The Way attempts a counter takedown but Asten avoids it well and moves away.
Asten misses with a body shot.
Asten lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Do You Know The Way has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Asten pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces The Way back to the cage. Asten follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gabe Asten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Way seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Asten shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! The Way is backing up but Asten catches him with a final right hook that drops him! The Way covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Asten Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
