Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Armando Hancock (ranked 2857 p4p, 4067 weight class) and Renan Viana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renan Viana!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hancock dives in and scores a takedown into Viana's guard.
Viana controlling the position.
Hancock is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hancock scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Viana lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hancock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Viana postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Viana is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Viana tries to stand but Hancock is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viana is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
It looks like Viana might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Viana postures up in Hancock's guard and throws a big left but Hancock blocks it.
Viana passes into half guard.

Viana is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hancock is just riding it out for now. Viana eventually gives up the hold.
Viana is looking to take a break and control but Hancock is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Viana content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Viana's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Viana landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Viana trying to control from half guard but Hancock is working away.
Viana is taking a breather. Hancock says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hancock is in trouble now - Viana has advanced to mount!
Viana lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Viana is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hancock is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hancock flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Viana anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hancock and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Viana slips an arm under Hancock chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Viana has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Viana is squeezing on Hancock like an anaconda would it's prey. Hancock fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
