Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borys Mankowski (ranked 25021 p4p, 4777 weight class) and Pedro Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Townsend has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Borys Mankowski had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Townsend misses with a series of wild punches.
Mankowski appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Townsend looks winded!
Mankowski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Townsend is trying to defend but Mankowski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mankowski is working for a submission of some sort.
Mankowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mankowski stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
A telegraphed right hand from Mankowski misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mankowski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Townsend napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Townsend bucks up and tries to throw Mankowski off but instead Mankowski has got his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Townsend is trying to defend against the choke here but Mankowski has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Mankowski Tightens the hold and Townsend taps out furiously! Mankowski displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
