Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Schreesch Hawk (ranked 4115 p4p, 5322 weight class) and Elam Grimes (ranked 0 p4p, 438 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Schreesch Hawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elam Grimes!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes is looking to land body kicks.
Hawk looks for a takedown but Grimes sprawls well.
Grimes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hawk.
Hawk dives in for a single leg takedown but Grimes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Hawk counters with a three punch combo that has Grimes backing up. Grimes nods at Hawk to acknowledge the strikes.

Hawk tries to bum rush Grimes with a series of wild strikes but Grimes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Hawk counters with a left and a right that stings Grimes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grimes leaves Hawk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hawk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
