Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tre Jokinen (ranked 1241 p4p, 23927 weight class) and Nykolai Kersikov (ranked 100 p4p, 363 weight class). Kersikov has chosen Frequencerz & Da Tweekaz - Full Control as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tre Jokinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nykolai Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen throws a lazy right hand but Kersikov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some wild striking there from Jokinen.
Kersikov catches Jokinen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Jokinen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kersikov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jokinen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kersikov has managed to get both his arms back between Jokinen's legs - danger averted.

Jokinen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kersikov is working away from the top position though.

During a confident post fight interview, Nykolai Kersikov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
