With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denis Burlaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johannes Korhonen!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burlaka scores with a jab. Korhonen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Korhonen moves to clinch but Burlaka breaks away
enabling Burlaka to counter with a crisp jab.
Korhonen looks to throw the jab but Burlaka is out of range.
Korhonen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Burlaka lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A combination from Burlaka does no damage.
Burlaka slips a straight right by Korhonen.
Korhonen misses with a body shot.
Burlaka lunges at Korhonen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Korhonen's hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Burlaka.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Burlaka connects with a crisp jab.
Nice body punch from Burlaka.
Korhonen swings widly with a right hand
and Burlaka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've been told by Burlaka's head coaches at Rabid Dog that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Korhonen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Burlaka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burlaka slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Korhonen throws a jab but it's blocked by Burlaka.
Korhonen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Some wild striking there from Burlaka.
Burlaka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Korhonen connects with a body shot that sends Burlaka's belly button to the back.
Burlaka lands with a nice combination. Korhonen backs away looking to recover.

Korhonen is rocked!
Burlaka cracks Korhonen with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Korhonen tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Burlaka pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Korhonen is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denis Burlaka!
Denis Burlaka decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
