PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dell Toshiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freedom has chosen Star Spangled Banner as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toshiba throws a nice looking combination but Freedom bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Freedom throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Toshiba's head.
Toshiba swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Freedom is looking to chop away at Toshiba's legs.
Freedom throws a nice outside leg kick.
Toshiba throws a right and a left that both miss.
Toshiba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Toshiba tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Freedom avoids a punch combination nicely.
Toshiba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Freedom throws a body punch but Toshiba moves out of range.
Freedom lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Toshiba swinging wilding here.
Toshiba misses with a series of wild punches.
Toshiba misses with a double jab.
Freedom scores with a jab. Toshiba acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Freedom scores with a decent looking hook.
Toshiba chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Freedom can pounce on him.
Freedom is looking to slow Toshiba down with leg kicks.
Toshiba is breathing heavily.

Freedom feints and as Toshiba raises his hands in defense, Freedom changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Freedom trying to stand up but can't free himself from Toshiba's guard.

Freedom is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Toshiba is working an open guard so Freedom takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Freedom scores with a punch to the head.

Freedom lands a big head kick that sends Toshiba tumbling to the mat! Freedom takes a step backwards and waves Toshiba back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Toshiba is rocked!
Freedom scores with a leg kick.
Oh Toshiba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freedom avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Freedom does no damage.

Freedom instigates a clinch.
Toshiba seems to have got his legs back now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Toshiba looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Toshiba as Freedom tries to tie him up.
Freedom is struggling to control the position.

A knee to the head by Freedom.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Toshiba has had enough of the clinch but Freedom keeps him there for the moment.

Freedom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Freedom dips to his left and cracks Toshiba with an uppercut!
Toshiba on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Freedom cracks Toshiba with an open hand slap.
Freedom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Whack! Freedom lands a heavy head kick that drops Toshiba. The ref tackles Freedom to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Toshiba was done.
