Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jakob Rolf (ranked 129 p4p, 125 weight class) and Spider Monkey (ranked 17 p4p, 15 weight class). Rolf comes into the arena with AVGN Theme Song blaring out of the sound system. Spider Monkey is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monkey clinches with his opponent.
Monkey lands a nice uppercut.

It looks like Jakob Rolf has been cut.

Rolf swings wildly with an uppercut but Monkey uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've been hearing reports that Rolf has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Monkey lands a shoulder strike.
Monkey is looking to control Rolf's arms but Rolf gets an underhook and turns him. Now Monkey has his back to the cage.

Rolf has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Monkey is trying to keep an underhook but Rolf manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Rolf seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Monkey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rolf is trying to control the action in half guard but Monkey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rolf tries to pass to full mount but Monkey defends it.
Rolf is looking to take a break and control but Monkey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Monkey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rolf wants to control from the top but Monkey keeps moving.

Rolf darts in looking for a takedown but Monkey gets double underhooks and turns Rolf into the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Monkey has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Rolf seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Monkey can turn it around.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rolf throws a punch but it's blocked by Monkey.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Spider Monkey will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jakob Rolf's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rolf has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Monkey.
Monkey feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rolfs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Monkey sends Rolf crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Monkey is motioning to the referee to let Rolf up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Rolf is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Monkey engages and cracks Rolf with a massive lead left hook - Rolf tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Monkey is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spider Monkey!
Spider Monkey decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
