Cholmondley Smythe comes to the cage accompanied by He is an Englishman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deliz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cholmondley Smythe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cholmondley Smythe has a takedown stuffed.
A bone on bone clash there as Cholmondley Smythe blocks the leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Deliz. No joy for Cholmondley Smythe on that attempt.
Deliz bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
