Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Thomas (ranked 427 p4p, 290 weight class) and Jimbo Gregor (ranked 57 p4p, 35 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregor has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thomas finds it's way round the side to connect with Gregor's head.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Derrick Thomas dominated that round.
That's time! Thomas 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Thomas lands a big uppercut and Gregor crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gregor looks OK. Thomas waves Gregor back to his feet!
Thomas throws an uppercut from hell that sends Gregor clean off his feet! He's out cold! Thomas stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
