The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haggar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Haggar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bozic defends it well.

Haggar is trying to control the action in half guard but Bozic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bozic is trying to maintain the position but Haggar is very close to passing his half guard.
Haggar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bozic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Haggar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bozic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bozic wants to control but Haggar is having none of it.
Haggar breaks from Bozic's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Haggar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Haggar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Haggar softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Bozic is out cold! Haggar jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
