The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabinho stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Menday misses with a double jab.
Fabinho ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Menday moves away.
Fabinho slips a jab and a cross from Menday.
Menday takes one to the chin there.
Menday lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fabinho circles away quickly and effectively.
Menday uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fabinho.

Adams Menday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fabinho is trying to trip Menday. He has hold of a leg but Menday is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fabinho persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Fabinho sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Menday's guard.

The referee warns Menday that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fabinho wants to control the action but instead Menday gets a body lock and reverses into Fabinho's guard! Nice work!

Fabinho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Menday doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fabinho is tightening it up a little... Menday has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Menday reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Menday taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fabinho!
