Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nasty Man (ranked 1818 p4p, 2557 weight class) and Nikora Tama (ranked 101 p4p, 126 weight class). Tama has chosen Haka War Dance as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Nasty Man has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nasty Man seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws a lazy right hand but Tama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tama fails with a takedown attempt.
Man throwing a counter right hand but Tama manages to avoid it.
Man throws a big shot that misses.
Tama misses with a takedown attempt - Man sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Man displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tama.
Man has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Stormcrow Centre in the buildup to the fight.
Nasty Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikora Tama.
Nice sprawl there from Man as Tama shoots in.
Tama shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Man as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tama drops his hands momentarily and Man takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Nikora Tama has been cut.
Man defending well as Tama loads up on a big left hand.
Tama shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Man to counter with a crisp jab.

Man misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tama.
Man swings for the body but Tama moves out of range.
Tama closes the distance but Man moves to the side
and Man counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tama thinking.
Tama wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance.

Tama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tama seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Man wants to control but Tama is keeping busy.
Man tries to get to full guard but Tama has control of the leg.
Tama working over Man with some ground and pound. Man looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tama thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Man's head.

Tama in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Man tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Tama!
