PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zhivko Bsohnakov (ranked 4804 p4p, 4974 weight class) and Itchy Go (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bsohnakov slaps away a takedown attempt from Go, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bsohnakov tries a head kick but it misses.

Go looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bsohnakov!
Bsohnakov manages to get back to half guard.
Bsohnakov is looking to control Go's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bsohnakov avoid being mounted?
Bsohnakov wants to get back to full guard but Go has mounted him!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Go controlling from the full mount.
Bsohnakov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Go lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bsohnakov hang on?

Go pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Go sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Bsohnakov working to try and regain half guard.

Go looking for a guillotine from mount but Bsohnakov is having none of it.
Go with shots to the head and body - Bsohnakov looks very uncomfortable down there.
Go has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Go lands a couple of good shots and Bsohnakov has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Go is riding his opponent, not letting Bsohnakov buck him off.

Bsohnakov rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Go content to control rather than advance.
Go uses his free foot to push down on Bsohnakov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bsohnakov.
Go with a couple of short strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Go is working for a guillotine from mount but Bsohnakov frees his head quite easily.

Go cracks Bsohnakov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bsohnakov is rocked!
Go lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Bsohnakov! Go sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Bsohnakov and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
