Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sirotek is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Petr Sirotek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sirotek moves into range and clinches up with Assman.
Assman is trying to drag Sirotek to the mat but Sirotek just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Sirotek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sirotek tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Assman swivels and escapes.
Assman throws a quick counter head kick but Sirotek was just out of range.
Assman pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sirotek shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Assman is trying to defend but Sirotek finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Assman is refusing to be controlled, as Sirotek sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sirotek in particular looking to stall.
Sirotek is keen to just control but Assman is a slippery customer.
Sirotek working over Assman with some ground and pound. Assman looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Sirotek tries to pass to full mount but Assman defends it.
Sirotek throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Assman to regain full guard.
Sirotek controls from within his opponent's guard.

Sirotek content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Assman has locked up a guillotine! Assman's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Sirotek is holding on here and Assman must be using up a lot of energy. Sirotek has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Assman gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
