Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Pedro Gomez (ranked 1944 p4p, 3128 weight class) and Tommy Harinck (ranked 140 p4p, 184 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gomez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hotel California (Spanish Mix). Pedro Gomez has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pedro Gomez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Harinck!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harinck throws a jab but it's blocked by Gomez.
Harinck darts in and clinches Gomez up against the ropes.
Harinck fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Harinck lands a nice uppercut.
Harinck blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Harinck lands a body shot in the clinch.
Gomez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gomez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harinck instigates a clinch.
Harinck misses with a body punch.
Gomez is trying to force a seperation but Harinck has the dominant position.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Harinck has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Harinck misses with a hook to the ribs.
Harinck lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gomez backwards.
Gomez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Harinck punishes Gomez's body with a nice straight punch.
Harinck closes the distance but Gomez moves to the side
and Gomez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Tommy Harinck has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harinck misses with a straight left.
Some wild striking there from Gomez.
A nice side step and Harinck releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Gomez throws a jab but it's blocked by Harinck.
Pedro Gomez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A jab from Gomez misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gomez.
Harinck moves away from the strike by Gomez.
Gomez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gomez works Harinck's body with a nice hook.
A lazy left from Gomez finds it's target.
Harinck on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Harinck moves into the clinch.
Harinck misses with the head strike.
Gomez breaks from the clinch.
Gomez moves out of range as Harinck strikes.
Gomez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Harinck looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gomez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gomez throws a body punch but Harinck moves out of range.
Gomez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gomez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Harinck is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gomez.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gomez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gomez cracks Harinck with a right hand to the side of the head.
That has opened up Tommy Harinck's cut even more.
Gomez jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Harinck is rocked!
Gomez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Harinck is still on wobbly legs! Can Gomez finish him?
Harinck walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Gomez! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
