Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Jordan (ranked 3648 p4p, 3604 weight class) and Turner Trujillo (ranked 237 p4p, 232 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jordan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Beguiled- Smashing Pumpkins. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josh Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Turner Trujillo!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan misses with a looping left.
Josh Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Trujillo at a distance.
Trujillo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jordan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jordan lands the left hand.
Jordan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Trujillo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Jordan counter with a right hand.
Jordan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Trujillo moves away from the strike by Jordan.
Trujillo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Trujillo tries to clinch but Jordan moves out of range.
Jordan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jordan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jordan throws a shot from downtown. Trujillo moves away and avoids it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trujillo shoots in for a takedown but Jordan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Trujillo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jordan connects with a jab.
Jordan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jordan scores with a shot to the body.

Trujillo drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jordan kicks Trujillo off and gets to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Trujillo.
Jordan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nice uppercut lands for Jordan. That snapped Trujillo's head back.
Jordan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Trujillo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jordan pinned against the cage. Jordan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Trujillo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Trujillo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Jordan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Trujillo doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jordan lands with a straight right. Trujillo didn't see that one coming.
Trujillo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Jordan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Trujillo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jordan prevents it.

Trujillo has Jordan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jordan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jordan scores with a jab. Trujillo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Trujillo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jordan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Trujillo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jordan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Trujillo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jordan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Trujillo somewhat.

Trujillo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Trujillo walks into a left hand.
Jordan connects with a single shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jordan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Trujillo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jordan throws a body shot but no joy.
Trujillo looks for a takedown but Jordan sprawls well.
Jordan appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Jordan thuds his right hand into Trujillo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jordan looks to land a right hand but Trujillo moved out of range.
Trujillo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jordan circles away.
It looked like Jordan was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Trujillo.

Trujillo shoots in looking for a takedown. Jordan tries to sprawl out of it but Trujillo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jordan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Trujillo doesn't succeed with the takedown

Jordan drops Trujillo with a beautiful combination! Trujillo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jordan is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jordan cracks Trujillo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Trujillo falls to his knees and Jordan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Jordan!
Josh Jordan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
