Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Angus MacLeod (ranked 4059 p4p, 5440 weight class) and Panished Snake (ranked 357 p4p, 415 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Angus MacLeod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Panished Snake!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snake has MacLeod up against the cage in a clinch.
Snake jumps guard but MacLeod stands there with Snake around his waist. Snake gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
MacLeod with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Snake has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
MacLeod keeps control of Snake as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

MacLeod is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Snake is defending well.

Snake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
MacLeod tries to clinch but Snake moves out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as MacLeod checks a leg kick.
MacLeod changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Snake tries to avoid it but MacLeod manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Snake to the ground. Snake escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
MacLeod looks to score with a jab to the body but Snake is just out of range.
MacLeod keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Snake counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Snake.

MacLeod manages to break the clinch.
Snake blocks a head kick by MacLeod.

Snake has managed to clinch.
Snake fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Snake effectively controlling the action here.
Snake avoiding damage.
MacLeod is looking for a takedown.
Snake tries to pull guard but MacLeod holds him up against the cage and eventually Snake drops back down to his feet.
MacLeod is trying to force a seperation but Snake has the dominant position.

MacLeod's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Snake manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Snake is on top in guard.

Snake pushes down on MacLeod's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MacLeod is trying to stand back up but Snake is controlling him

MacLeod tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Snake has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Snake throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Snake misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
MacLeod bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
MacLeod looking to sit in guard and control but Snake gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Panished Snake dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


MacLeod clinches with his opponent.
MacLeod has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Snake is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
MacLeod tries a knee to the head but Snake blocks it.
MacLeod is trying to pull guard but Snake has him pressed against the cage.
Snake tries to pull guard but MacLeod holds him up against the cage and eventually Snake drops back down to his feet.

Snake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snake has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snake scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Snake throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Angus MacLeod is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Snake leaves MacLeod with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Snake lands with an uppercut that bounces MacLeod off the cage and back into range.

MacLeod is looking to counter the offense by Snake and move into the clinch.

MacLeod shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snake pinned against the cage. Snake gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Panished Snake seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
MacLeod dives in and grabs Snake's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snake pushes down on MacLeod's head and hops out.

MacLeod closes the distance and clinches up with Snake, looking for a takedown. MacLeod pushes Snake against the cage but Snake circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Snake lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Snake.

It looks like Angus MacLeod has been cut.

Snake shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with MacLeod but MacLeod pushes him off and we're back to square one.
MacLeod tries to counter by clinching up but Snake breaks away and moves out of range.
MacLeod fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Snake throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Snake fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
MacLeod throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Panished Snake showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Snake tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but MacLeod defends well and Snake ends up having to push MacLeod into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
As Snake tries to get set, MacLeod tries to push him back and clinch up but Snake manages to avoid the attempt.
Snake lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from MacLeod is defended easily by Snake.

Panished Snake is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Snake decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on MacLeod, up you get!

Panished Snake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
