Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Bonanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Damian Marley - Welcome To Jamrock. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonanza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bonanza off to one side.
Bonanza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Bonanza closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Bonanza pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bonanza steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Silva. That one must have hurt.
Bonanza dodges the punch combination from Silva.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Bonanza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Silva is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Silva gets caught flat footed, as Bonanza shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bonanza has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bonanza's guard.
Silva gets to his feet. Bonanza looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Bonanza decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bonanza is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.
Bonanza is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva wants to get back to full guard.

Bonanza misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bonanza drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva wants to clinch up but Bonanza keeps it at a distance.

Silva punishes Bonanza's body with a nice straight punch.
Bonanza fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bonanza's head.
Silva connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bonanza's hands.
Bonanza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bonanza takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bonanza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Silva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Silva throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bonanza shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bonanza wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Bonanza postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bonanza, into his guard.
Bonanza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bonanza is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bonanza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bonanza has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Silva doesn't defend quickly enough and Bonanza has managed to lock this one up! Can Silva escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bonanza on a fantastic submission victory.
