Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Schnapp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakrzewski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Schnapp throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Zakrzewski on the side of the head.
It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Schnapp darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
An inside leg kick lands from Schnapp.
Schnapp keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Schnapp fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zakrzewski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Schnapp connects with a right hand. Zakrzewski shakes it off.
Schnapp rushes Zakrzewski with punches - Zakrzewski moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Zakrzewski goes down! Schnapp follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Schnapp!
An out of breath Frank Schnapp thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
