Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antti Kokko (ranked 2173 p4p, 2226 weight class) and Osvaldo Leandro (ranked 250 p4p, 254 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Leandro. Leandro obviously looking to wear him down.
Leandro lands a high kick!

It looks like Antti Kokko has been cut.
Leandro lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Crunch! Leandro slams his shin into Kokko's torso.

and Kokko counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Leandro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kokko closes the distance and clinches.
Kokko fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A left hand lands to the body for Kokko.

Kokko manages to break the clinch.
Leandro throws a shot from downtown. Kokko moves away and avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kokko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Leandro throws a head kick but Kokko moves out of range.

Kokko on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kokko walks forward, straight into a front kick from Leandro.
Leandro swings for the body but Kokko moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Kokko tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crunch! Leandro slams his shin into Kokko's torso.
Leandro moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kokko takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Leandro throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Leandro bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Leandro thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kokko if he has to take too many more of those.

Whack! Leandro lands a heavy head kick that drops Kokko. The ref tackles Leandro to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Kokko was done.
