Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Dutra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dutra might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to new pespective. Matheus Dutra could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ben Knox's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutra shoots in for a takedown but Knox shows good takedown defense.
Dutra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knox is fending him off so far but Dutra persists. Nope, Knox circles away and we're back to standing.
Knox stuffs the takedown attempt from Dutra. Dutra gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matheus Dutra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dutra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dutra swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Dutra slips under a jab.

Dutra moves into the clinch.
Dutra misses with the head strike.

Knox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Knox misses with a two punch combination.
Knox rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dutra moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Knox thows a body shot but no joy.
Dutra tries to clinch but Knox is having none of it.
Dutra is looking to clinch but Knox is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dutra doesn't manage to clinch there - Knox circles away.
Dutra moves away from the strike by Knox.
Dutra uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knox.
A nice leg kick lands there from Knox.
Knox throws a hook but Dutra blocks it.
Dutra tries for a takedown but Knox sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Knox lands a high kick!

It looks like Matheus Dutra has been cut.

Knox swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Knox digs a good hook to Dutra's body.
Dutra is breathing heavily.
Knox fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Knox scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Knox lands a head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Knox bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dutra's head.
Knox lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Dutra crumples to the floor! Knox milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
