Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samir Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Akimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Good exchange - Reid coming out on top.
Akimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reid sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Slice somewhat.
Reid lands a jab-cross combination.
Slice shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slice tries to clinch there but Reid circles away.
Slice on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Slice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Samir Reid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akimbo Slice.
A left lands for Reid.

Slice fails with the takedown.
Reid went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Reid avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Reid counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Slice looks winded!

Reid closes the distance and clinches.
Reid scores with a nice hook to the head.
Reid lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Slice.
A shot in the inside from Reid.
Reid lands with a right to the head.
Slice can't find room to land a body shot as Reid controls the action.
Reid throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Reid breaks from the clinch.
Slice fails with the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Reid lands an impressive looking overhand right. Slice doesn't seem phased though.
Slice shoots in looking for a takedown but Reid manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Slice's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body punch from Reid.
Reid misses with a few strikes there.
Nice sprawl there from Reid as Slice shoots in.
Reid fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Slice looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Reid connects with a body shot that sends Slice's belly button to the back.

Reid drops Slice with a beautiful combination! Slice stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Reid is looking for the KO!

Slice is rocked!

It looks like Akimbo Slice has been cut.
Reid misses with a jab, cross combination.
Slice is still on wobbly legs! Can Reid finish him?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Slice is defended easily by Reid.
Slice seems to have recovered his senses.
Reid dances in with a quick combination. Slice is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Reid snaps Slice's head back. Slice stumbles backwards against the cage. Reid steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Slice's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Slice just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Samir Reid!
In defeat, Akimbo Slice stepped up to the mic, saying 'Naaah it's iight all W coming next'.
