Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaylen Stout (ranked 2176 p4p, 2021 weight class) and Malcolm Young (ranked 159 p4p, 152 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Young cracks Stout with an open hand slap.
A jab from Young does it's job there.

It looks like Jaylen Stout has been cut.
Stout fails in his attempt to clinch.
Stout tries to clinch but Young is having none of it.

Stout tries to close the distance and clinch but Young swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Young on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Young circles away from the clinch attempt.
Young lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Stout wants to clinch.
Young looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Young connects with a solid leg kick.

and Stout takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Stout tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Young manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Young! But no joy.
Jaylen Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Young swats away the attempt to clinch by Stout.
Nice uppercut lands for Young. That snapped Stout's head back.

Stout is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Young sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Stout's defenses. It connects perfectly with Stout's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
