Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Joao Antonio Ferriera (ranked 2763 p4p, 2710 weight class) and Warrick Cager (ranked 307 p4p, 301 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Warrick Cager was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferriera tries to clinch but Cager is having none of it.

Cager fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ferriera, pushing him back against the cage.
Ferriera stops a takedown attempt from Cager.
Cager wants a takedown but no success here.
Cager tries for a takedown but Ferriera manages to get underhooks.
Jose Joao Antonio Ferriera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Warrick Cager.
Ferriera gets underhooks to prevent Cager's takedown attempt.

Ferriera ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ferriera no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ferriera has his feet on Cager's thighs here. He's pushed Cager off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Cager screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
