Coles comes to the cage accompanied by HonestKey- Pass. The key to victory for Phillip Coles has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phillip Coles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jameel Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a hook.
Coles moves out of range of the strikes.
Johnson tries to move into range but Coles moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Coles ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Coles lands a really nice looking cross but Johnson seems unphased.
Nice defenses there by Coles.
A little feinted left hand from Coles on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Coles.
It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Johnson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Coles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Johnson misses with a looping left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Coles chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Johnson can pounce on him.
Coles moves out of range of the body kick from Johnson.
Johnson drops his hands momentarily and Coles takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Good exchange - Coles coming out on top.
Johnson throws a leg kick which misses Coles's front leg but catches the back leg as Coles tries to avoid it.
Coles uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Coles loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.
Johnson feints a counter leg kick.
Johnson throws the kick towards the body but Coles avoids it.
Coles throwing a counter right hand but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coles sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Coles scores with a jab. Johnson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Coles avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Coles digs a good hook to Johnson's body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice cross by Coles.
Coles slips a straight right by Johnson.
Johnson throws a head kick but Coles moves out of range.
As Johnson looks to move away, Coles throws a big counter combo but Johnson just gets out of the way.
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick
and Coles makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Coles moves into range and connects with a jab.
Johnson misses with a hook
and Coles counters with a huge left! Johnson is in big trouble! He's backing up but Coles isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Johnson from any more damage. A dominating finish by Coles!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phillip Coles!
During a confident post fight interview, Phillip Coles thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
