Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Machete. Johnson shrugs it off though.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Machete as Johnson shoots in.
Machete misses with a two punch combination.
Machete sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Johnson to the ground! Machete dives into full mount looking to finish!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Johnson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Johnson shoots in and bounces Machete off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Machete wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machete swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Machete tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Machete fights it but they end up in guard.
Johnson throws and elbow that misses. Machete uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Johnson's guard. Nice move by Machete!
Johnson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Machete.
Johnson tries to clinch there but Machete circles away.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Machete but Machete pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Machete.

Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Machete sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Johnson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Machete is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Johnson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Machete's back instead.

Johnson has control of Machete's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Machete regains control of the situation pretty easily.
