Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Levi Jones (ranked 5055 p4p, 2331 weight class) and Maxi Stanton (ranked 318 p4p, 166 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Levi Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Levi Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Levi Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maxi Stanton!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Stanton misses its intended target.
Stanton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Donk. Stanton catches Jones right on the button with a cross.
Stanton misses with a two punch combination.
Stanton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Levi Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stanton.
Stanton is looking for the big counter here.
Jones throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stanton thuds his shin into the meat of Jones's side.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Stanton.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones throws a head kick but Stanton moves out of range.
Stanton only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Stanton is looking to chop away at Jones's legs.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
Jones looks to throw a body kick
and Stanton counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stanton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jones checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones misses with a looping right.
Jones lands with a right hand.

Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stanton slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stanton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from Stanton.
A low kick lands for Stanton.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
A little jabbing left from Stanton on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jones misses with a double jab
and Stanton counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Stanton counters with a good low kick that Jones was not able to check.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jones.

Stanton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jones throws the left hand but Stanton avoids the punch easily.
Jones swinging wildly here.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stanton counters with a nice leg kick.
Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stanton fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Stanton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Stanton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Stanton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stanton lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into range.

Jones is rocked!
Stanton jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick
and Stanton counters with a right hand to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Stanton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stanton.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Stanton drops Jones with a straight right hand, right on the button! Stanton follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxi Stanton!
A relieved looking Maxi Stanton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
