Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gillechriosd McCoy (ranked 416 p4p, 582 weight class) and Ivan Sidorov (ranked 19 p4p, 27 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McCoy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to YxngB - The Irish. Sidorov has chosen Sidorov's Heart as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sidorov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McCoy is trying to maintain the position but Sidorov is very close to passing his half guard.
Sidorov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
McCoy wants to hold on but Sidorov pushes him away.
McCoy manages to regain half guard. Good work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McCoy stuns Sidorov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

It looks like Ivan Sidorov has been cut.
Sidorov shoots in and drives through. McCoy sprawls well.

and McCoy counters with a three punch combo that has Sidorov backing up. Sidorov nods at McCoy to acknowledge the strikes.

McCoy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sidorov is on top in guard.

Sidorov got a little sloppy there for a moment and McCoy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sidorov has managed to get both his arms back between McCoy's legs - danger averted.

McCoy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sidorov can do to turn this around?

McCoy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sidorov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Sidorov stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and McCoy has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Sidorov manages to get his head free but now McCoy has transitioned to an armbar! Sidorov grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from McCoy! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
