Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reino Ruttu (ranked 771 p4p, 552 weight class) and Leonard Nimoy (ranked 112 p4p, 81 weight class). Reino Ruttu had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nimoy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruttus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Nimoy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ruttu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nimoy to score with a decent uppercut.
Ruttu moves out of range of the body kick from Nimoy.
Nimoy throws a body shot but no joy.
As Nimoy backs away, Ruttu returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Nimoy tries to land a front kick but Ruttu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Ruttu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nimoy finds it's way round the side to connect with Ruttu's head.

Ruttu connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Nimoy is rocked!
Ruttu is stalking Nimoy. Nimoy circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Ruttu, and it's lights out! Nimoy really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

A relieved looking Reino Ruttu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
