Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Tatum (ranked 1709 p4p, 3246 weight class) and Frank Jaxon (ranked 215 p4p, 363 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jayson Tatum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Jaxon!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum misses with a body shot.
Jaxon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Jaxon shoots in and bounces Tatum off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jaxon throwing strikes from guard but Tatum blocks nicely.
Jaxon wants to control from the top but Tatum keeps moving.

Tatum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jaxon on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tatum has Jaxon pulled in close to control his posture.

Tatum is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jaxon distracts Tatum with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jaxon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tatum swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jaxon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jaxon controls from within his opponent's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Tatum is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tatum avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jaxon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tatum has Jaxon pulled in close to control his posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jaxon shoots in and drives through. Tatum sprawls well.
Jaxon misses with a takedown attempt - Tatum sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tatum seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Jaxon shoots in but Tatum avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tatum is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Jayson Tatum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Jaxon.

Tatum wants to clinch.
Jaxon looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Tatum smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Frank Jaxon has been cut.
Tatum throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jaxon on the side of the head.
Jayson Tatum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tatum tries to bum rush Jaxon with a series of wild strikes but Jaxon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jaxon tries to counter with a clinch but Tatum shakes him off and moves away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tatum scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jaxon doesn't seem bothered though.
Tatum stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Tatum scores with a hook to the body. Jaxon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tatum defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jaxon.
Tatum goes for a small jab and connects. Now Tatum goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Jaxon stumbles back but Tatum runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Jaxon to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Jaxon will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jayson Tatum!
