PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Castro (ranked 1998 p4p, 1927 weight class) and Al Bundy (ranked 240 p4p, 231 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Al Bundy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bundy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Bundy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Castro to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Bundy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Castro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Castro is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Castro is pushing down on Bundy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bundy is fighting to maintain full guard but Castro has managed to sneak the leg through.
Castro is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bundy reverses the position - he's now on top in Castro's guard.

Bundy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Castro swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Castro wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Castro seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Castro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bundy manages to get himself to full guard.

Bundy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Castro throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bundy's body to avoid the submission. Bundy has instead reached around Castro's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bundy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
