Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theo Almeida (ranked 3126 p4p, 3274 weight class) and Zaid Silva (ranked 353 p4p, 376 weight class). Zaid Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida with a lazy takedown attempt

Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Almeida has time to react.

Almeida is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Zaid Silva has been cut.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Almeida. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
