Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Augier De Rabat (ranked 4138 p4p, 5602 weight class) and Seung Woo Choi (ranked 269 p4p, 336 weight class). De Rabat kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Marche des Templiers. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Rabat circles away from the clinch attempt
and De Rabat counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Choi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
De Rabat throws a big counter combination but Choi scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Choi scores with a head kick.

De Rabat drives through with a takedown into Choi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

De Rabat stands and steps away. Choi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Choi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Rabat moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Choi checks a leg kick.

De Rabat drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

De Rabat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and De Rabat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Rabat won't allow Choi to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Choi is looking for a triangle here but De Rabat uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Choi looks winded!

De Rabat has hold of Choi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Choi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - De Rabat cranks the arm and Choi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Choi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
