The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price slips a jab from Bear.
Price paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Paul Bear has been cut.
Bear tries to clinch up but Price circles away and keeps his distance.
Price throws a jab when Bear was well out of range.
Bear throws a lazy right hand but Price sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Price defending well as Bear loads up on a big left hand.
Bear blocks a jab.
Bear misses with a wild combination.
Bear throws the left hand but Price avoids the punch easily.
Bear throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Price displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bear throws out the jab.

No joy there for Bear, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Paul Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Price avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bear throws a lazy right hand but Price sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Price darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Price counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Bear!

Price stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bear to get to his feet.
Price looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Nice body punch from Price.
Bear takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Price throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bear on the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Price moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Bear goes down! Can Price finish him!?


Bear is rocked!


Paul Bear's cut is getting worse.

Price decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Good leg kick by Price there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bear on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Price lands a big shot that drops Bear! Can he finish him?

Price stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Price lands a big uppercut and Bear crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bear looks OK. Price waves Bear back to his feet!


Paul Bear's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Price throws a hook but Bear blocks it.
Price throws a monster overhand right that drops Bear! Price follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trevor Price!
