PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jin san (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalibr Snaryadov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snaryadov lets loose with a powerful body kick. san will feel that in the morning.
san looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Snaryadov rushes san and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Snaryadov breaks from the clinch.

Snaryadov lands a head kick that stumbles san and the fighters go to the mat.

It looks like jin san has been cut.
san might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Snaryadov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of san is proving hard to escape from.
Snaryadov wants to pass the guard but san is keeping the position.

Snaryadov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Snaryadov closes the distance and clinches.

Snaryadov breaks the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Snaryadov. That's going to slow san down.
Snaryadov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but san manages to avoid it.
Snaryadov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Snaryadov scores with a push kick.

A big head kick from Snaryadov and san is sent sprawling to the canvas!

san is rocked!
Snaryadov advances position into side control!
Oh san is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snaryadov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
san seems to have got his legs back now.

san takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Snaryadov lands a high kick to the side of san's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Snaryadov dives into guard, looking to finish.

jin san's cut is getting worse.

Snaryadov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on san, up you get!
A head kick from Snaryadov lands but san takes it in his stride.
Snaryadov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Snaryadov circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! san drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Snaryadov follows san to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
